Heyy’all!
The second two weeks of the first session have officially begun!!!
Yesterday, a.k.a. Pajama Day, we lazed around in fashion ft. pool time (classic!), but also signed up for new classes and welcomed new campers to the fam!!
In the afternoons, cabins engaged in a variety of fun activities including slip n slide, rock-collecting, sprinkler fun, dance parties and song-learning with counselors and pro staff – all in their spiffiest PJs, of course.
In the evening, the folk duo Kim and Reggie performed soulful hits for us like Solar Power, Wade In the Water, Turn the World Around and High Over the Hudson. The musical vibes even carried over into morning meeting today, featuring the very catchy ‘Recycling Song’.
In addition to second rounds of our fantastic offerings from the first two weeks, we’ve also added an exciting selection of ‘mini’ four day classes (think a ‘miniatures’ mini, aqua aerobics and Pirating 101) to the mix that lets campers experience even more at camp!
And on the lineup tonight: the one and only Staff Talent Show!!! Our super-talented counselors have been getting their ‘acts’ together to put on an exciting show for evening program.
But of course before then, we’ll have evening meeting that we’ve been told will happen a little earlier than usual tonight. Not suspicious at all, right…!!??
