Gooooooood morning folks,
It’s Mag-O-Llama here, and what a great day it is to be at HVC! As you can already tell by the title of this post, IT’S JUNK FOOD DAY! Our bellies are full of doughnuts and sugar-filled snacks, and we’re anticipating a lot more where that came from.
Last night our campers got up to some amazing things. With electives as the nightly program, campers got to choose from activities like making nature crowns, hunting for mushrooms, and even cooking some Aussie “Damper” over the fire. Not to mention, “Is it Corn?” was a fan favorite. These campers even came up with a theme song to add to the fun.
Here are some of the other elective choices that made the night so fantastic:
Capture the Flag
Backyard Sardines
Glassblowing
Rock skipping at the Lake
Pressing Flowers with Glass
Record painting
Making Photograms
Doing an Egg Drop
Is it Corn?
Having a Bunny Circle
Making Watercolor Postcards
Hair Wraps
and finally, Tipi Zip.
To make the night even more special, 5th year campers got their 5 year vests at evening program! It’s always an awesome night when we get to honor the campers who have been in our community for so long!
With that said, I’m off to go practice my frisbee skills for a very important game coming up today. (This Llama is ready to rock)
Peace, Love, and Llama Hugs,
Mag-O-Llama.
