One of the first meetings of the summer! Meg and horse director Ciera on the front porch of the new office.
Hi, friends! Olive Oyl here with an live update from camp! Things are looking lush and green with lots of anticipation for the summer ahead. The new office is just starting to get worn in and cozy with the PDs working away in the loft upstairs and our office staff hard at work on the first floor. There’s so much space for lots of postcards plus ample room to greet our parents, friends, and campers when they arrive on camp. The space looks familiar, with many of our photos and art still here, but in different spots. We can’t wait for you to check it out! Not to mention the beautiful new park where the old office used to be, Founders Park, which is a lovely new spot as you walk down camp road.
Camp is starting to slowly grow, with four new staff arrivals yesterday giving us lots of helping hands to get camp in tip-top shape. The beehive and international house are warming up once again, with our glass staff organizing the shops and getting them prepared for staff training and camper arrival. We’ve been clearing trails and cleaning out buildings, like the Rec Hall, which is getting some attention today as we get ready for all the theatrical, musical, and comedic magic that will take place there this summer.
Be sure to check out lots of cool photos around camp today!
Lots of love,
Olive
