HAPPY FAIR DAY!!!

HELLO HVC!!!!! It’s Mag-O-Llama here and I’m screaming with excitement because today was the best day ever….. FAIR DAY!!!!!! 🙂

We started off the morning with a tasty breakfast (It was the egg bar!!) in order to fuel our campers because this morning was the fair day race!!!!! The campers were so fast that they flashed right before my eyes!! It was truly a sight to see 🙂 First, second, and third place winners for each age group received beautiful glass bead medals made by our glass apprentice, Jack! Lucky ducks! After morning meeting the fun continued and the campers got to see all of the hard work that the Brumby campers put in this summer during Brumby Horse Show!!! To continue the already amazing day, cabins got to set up and enjoy the booths for Fair Day! There was ice cream, a marriage booth, a chocolate fountain, jousting, fried dough, kiss-o-grams, face/glitter painting, fortune-telling, the poop shoot, moon bounce, a book fair, arcade games, and so much more!! Campers worked hard at their booths and enjoyed all the fun activities their pals organized for them! Everyone pitched in to clean up after all the fun, and we gathered to watch a slide show of our summer and the videos that our video classes made these two weeks! And then we ended the night with the super duper awesome fun sugar-fueled Fair Day Dance!! 🙂 Check out some of the pictures below, and check back in tomorrow to see the rest!!

The news isn’t over yet! HVC got swept under the sea last night because the evening program was the musical, The Little Mermaid!!! 🙂 Campers got to watch their fellow peers perform and might I say it was fantabulous!!
