Howdy, all, it’s Carolina here, your favorite blogging duckling in the summer camp universe! From start to finish, yesterday was a day with a theme. For starters, it was Dress in the Dark Day, for which campers, counselors, and staff showed up to breakfast and spent the day decked out as though they had gotten dressed with the lights off. Many were wearing unlikely and mismatched combinations of clothing, while others had things on backwards and on the wrong parts of their bodies. We got some terrific pictures! In the evening, cabins split up into their three neighborhoods for the Dark Dance, with a variety of interpretations of the word “dark.” Some folks remained in their “dress in the dark” attire, while others came sporting headlamps or dark colors. The whole day really made me wish I were in the habit of wearing clothing, because they looked like they were having so much fun! Tonight is another round of Electives – can’t wait to tell you all about it tomorrow!
More then,
